Summary: Lungelo Ndlovu has obtained a Master of Social Sciences (Health communication) degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. The title of her MA dissertation is: A case study on Brothers for Life campaign: demand creation for Oral PrEP among AGYW through exploring the perceptions and acceptability of males on the implementation of Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in Vulindlela, KwaZulu-Natal. Her research interests include Entertainment Education (EE), policy and advocacy in Health Promotion and Health Communication, Social and Behavioural Change Communication (SBCC), and participatory methodologies to HIV prevention. Her research focus is on bottom-up approaches to Health Communication. She is passionate about the psycho-social wellbeing of AGYW and is leading women centered organisations in KZN. Lungelo is currently employed by CAPRISA and the founder of Phakama Ndlovukazi Projects . She is interested in pursuing her PhD at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. The focus of her duration of the fellowship is on the development of her PhD proposal.
