Summary: Nancy Kirui is a clinical officer who specializes in sexual and reproductive health. She holds a master’s degree in public health with a focus on reproductive health, a degree in public health, a higher diploma in clinical medicine and surgery with a focus on reproductive health, a higher diploma in community health, and a diploma in clinical medicine and surgery. Currently, she is employed at Kenyatta University where she serves as an ASRHR officer, clinical mentor, and coordinator of reproductive health services and activities. Additionally, Nancy is a committee member and team leader for the Kenyatta University family welfare and counselling project. Prior to her current position, she worked for the Kenya AIDS Control Project and the Eastern Deanery AIDS Relief Programme in Nairobi, where she provided care and treatment to HIV/TB patients as a senior clinical officer and mentor. In her current fellowship, Nancy hopes to develop a funding proposal to expand Kenyatta University’s youth-friendly ASRH and welfare program, particularly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
