Summary: She has been involved in HIV and AIDS prevention, care and treatment research, monitoring and evaluation projects and later from 2015 onwards. Her current position as project manager in a technical support and direct services delivery project targeting children and adolescent HIV care and treatment services in public sector health facilities. This project has highlighted the existing and known challenges in Paediatric and Adolescent HIV such as the gap in treatment initiations of identified clients and retention in care despite clinical and psychosocial support interventions being implemented. She would like to gain a better understanding of young patients remaining and those lost to care. She would like to explore these adolescents lost to care to close the gap in less than optimal patient retention rates.
Proposed output(s): She would like to complete a PHD proposal that designs and tests a self-worth orientated intervention targeting adolescents and young women involved in risky behaviours.
