Summary: Mentorship required for conceptualising a PhD research proposal. Sonto has a strong academic background with a Master’s degree in Psychology. Her experience includes participating in research projects recruiting high risk adolescents and her focus during her Master’s degree was on the acceptability of use of home based HIV testing strategies among adolescents in Soweto. She has expressed an interest in pursuing a PhD with a focus on adolescent health and HIV prevention and believes that the fellowship will give her the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge that will allow her to formulate her research questions to this end.
Aim(s): Goal is to pursue PhD focusing on Adolescent HIV research and have the fellowship guide conceptualisation and development of the research proposal
